Imagine that you and your colleagues have just implemented a newly designed, research-based learning environment at your school or ECE facility, which now focuses more on play-based learning.  Previously, the school or facility did not emphasize the importance of play-based learning, so parents and families of the children may be unaware of why you made the changes and how important play-based learning is to child development and ongoing learning, especially with regard to nurturing and educating the whole child.  You will host an Open House for parents and families, at which you will explain the new focus on play-based learning. 

Create a FAQ document to use at the Open House.  Your FAQ document should be designed for families and should explain the new play-based learning environment and how it will benefit their children.  Use research-based citations to support your arguments and ideas.

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA standards.
